Indicative product registration timeline
1. Project review
1–3 business daysReview of formulation, claims, packaging, target market and available documentation.
2. Testing plan
2–5 business daysDefinition of the testing and documentation scope for the specific product.
3. Product testing
approx. 6–10 weeksDepending on the product, this may include stability, compatibility, microbiology, Challenge Test and dermatological testing.
4. CPSR and PIF
approx. 5–10 business days after complete resultsPreparation of the safety assessment and Product Information File.
5. CPNP notification
approx. 1–3 business daysSubmission of product information to the EU CPNP portal once documentation is complete.
Total timing depends on formulation readiness, test results, packaging and documentation completeness. A full process including testing usually takes several months.
